About the Role:

We are looking for a talented and dedicated Classical Dance Teacher to join our reputed CBSE School. The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching dance, have expertise in one or more Indian classical dance forms, and inspire students to develop their artistic expression.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Performing Arts (Dance) or equivalent from a recognized institution. 3 to 5 years of relevant teaching experience in reputed CBSE Schools. Expertise in at least one Indian classical dance form; knowledge of multiple forms is an advantage. Strong communication skills in English and the ability to connect with students of different age groups.

Age Limit:

Up to 35 years (preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Indian classical dance forms (such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi, Kuchipudi, etc.) to students across different grades. Plan and deliver structured lessons that balance theory, practical training, and performance techniques. Prepare students for school events, cultural programs, competitions, and examinations. Choreograph dance performances for annual functions, assemblies, and inter-school competitions. Foster appreciation of Indian culture, heritage, and traditions through dance. Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment during classes. Collaborate with music and drama teachers for integrated performances.
