Position Summary
The Senior Analyst - Claims Adjusting will be part of the Claims Vertical, responsible for executing allocated marine claims as per company standards. This includes investigation, evaluation, documentation, and resolution of claims while ensuring compliance with relevant maritime laws and internal policies. The role involves collaboration with global teams and promoting a customer-centric culture.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate marine incidents (e.g., cargo damage, collisions)
Assess damage and estimate repair or replacement costs
Maintain documentation for all claim activities
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Ensure compliance with maritime laws and internal service standards
Support audit readiness and risk mitigation
Required Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree
Preferred: Degree in insurance or a related field
Certifications: AIC, AINS, Cert CII, or any insurance industry certifications
Experience: 2-3 years in insurance claims handling
Proven track record in claim resolution and customer satisfaction
Strong knowledge of insurance regulations, policies, and claims procedures
