Job Summary:

The

Claims Process Associate

is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling

residential property damage claims

under

homeowners insurance policies

. This role ensures that each claim is processed in alignment with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a high level of customer service and operational accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and process property insurance claims from

First Notice of Loss (FNOL)

to resolution using

ImageRight

and other tools. Determine

coverage and liability

in accordance with policy terms and relevant laws. Accurately

estimate damages

using appropriate software such as

Xactimate

. Maintain

detailed and organized documentation

of claim files, correspondence, and decisions. Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, adjusters, and internal departments. Identify and escalate

potential fraud

or suspicious activity. Ensure compliance with internal workflows, customer service benchmarks, and regulatory standards. Prioritize and manage

multiple claims simultaneously

while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

preferred (in Business, Insurance, or related fields).

2-5 years

of relevant experience in property claims handling. Proficiency in

claims management systems

and

estimating tools

(e.g., Xactimate). Strong

analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills

. Excellent

written and verbal communication

abilities. Attention to detail and the ability to

work independently

. Familiarity with U.S. homeowners insurance policies and regulatory environment is a plus.
