Claim Processing Executive (Health Insurance)

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Process

health insurance claims

(cashless and reimbursement) as per policy terms Verify claim documents for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility Coordinate with

TPAs, hospitals, and internal claims teams

for claim approval and settlement Resolve queries related to

policy coverage, exclusions, and claim status

Update claim details accurately in CRM / internal systems Follow up on pending claims to ensure timely closure Maintain confidentiality of medical and insurance data Adhere to company SOPs, IRDAI guidelines, and internal compliance standards Prepare and share daily / weekly MIS reports related to claims status

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

Health Insurance Claims Processing

Understanding of

TPA processes, hospital billing, and medical documents

Familiarity with

medical terminology

Attention to detail and documentation accuracy Good communication skills (verbal & written) Ability to handle multiple cases and meet timelines Basic knowledge of CRM systems and MS Excel

Eligibility Criteria

Experience:

1-3 years in Health Insurance / TPA / Claims Processing

Qualification:

Graduation (Any stream)

Preferred Background:

Health Insurance, TPA, Hospital Operations, Pharmacy

Willingness to coordinate with multiple stakeholders Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong ethics and data confidentiality awareness
Good English communication is compulsory
