We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and demonstrate expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. This role requires effective leadership skills to supervise teams on-site, ensuring that all work is performed according to specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Duties
Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software.
Review blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate execution of plans.
Manage contracts and oversee budgeting processes for projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to OSHA standards.
Utilize ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation management and collaboration among team members.
Provide training and guidance to construction teams, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
Perform construction estimating tasks to assess project costs accurately.
Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle to maintain high standards of work.
Skills
Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid.
Strong understanding of construction management principles, including project scheduling, budgeting, and estimating.
Experience in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices on construction sites.
Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
Familiarity with pipeline construction processes is a plus.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills for problem-solving in dynamic environments.
