Job Description

Job Role: Civil Supervisor

A Civil Supervisor oversees and manages day-to-day construction site activities to ensure smooth execution of all civil works as per drawings, quality standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Monitoring

Supervise all civil work at site (shuttering, concreting, brickwork, plastering, reinforcement, finishing, etc.). Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQ, and specifications. Coordinate with contractors, masons, carpenters, and labour teams.

2. Quality Control

Inspect quality of materials and workmanship regularly. Ensure proper curing, alignment, levels, and finishing. Identify defects and ensure timely rectification.

3. Daily Reporting

Maintain daily progress reports (DPR). Record site measurements, material requirements, and labour productivity. Update project manager/engineer on daily activities.

4. Material Management

Check material availability and coordinate with the store/purchase for timely supply. Prevent material wastage and ensure proper usage and storage.

5. Safety & Compliance

Ensure workers follow all safety guidelines. Conduct toolbox talks and enforce PPE usage. Report any accidents or safety hazards immediately.

6. Coordination & Communication

Liaise with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors. Assist in planning day-to-day work schedules. Handle on-site issues and provide quick solutions.

7. Documentation

Maintain checklists, pour cards, and inspection records. Ensure all work is inspected and approved before moving to the next stage.

Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience in construction supervision. Strong knowledge of civil construction activities. Ability to read and understand drawings. Good communication and leadership skills. Familiarity with safety norms and quality standards.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
