: Senior Safety Officer (Civil) Industry:

Experience Required:

8-9 Years Civil Industry

Education:-

Diploma / Degree in Civil or relevant field Experience in managing safety at civil, or industrial project sites

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor the company's EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies at construction sites. Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions. Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and client safety requirements. Prepare and maintain site safety documentation such as JSA, HIRA, PTW, toolbox talks, inspection reports, etc. Conduct safety induction training for new workers and periodic safety training for all site staff. Investigate incidents, accidents, near-misses and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions. Ensure proper use of PPE and monitor its availability and quality. Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors for safe execution of work. Conduct emergency response drills and ensure availability of first-aid and firefighting equipment. Maintain records of safety audits, safety violations, risk assessments, safety meetings, etc. Ensure compliance during high-risk activities: working at height, lifting operations, excavation, scaffolding, hot work, confined space, heavy equipment movement, etc. Liaise with client safety teams and participate in safety meetings.
