Summary: Civil / Structural Engineer with Bachelor's / Master's degree in Civil engineering and 4 to 12 years of relevant experience in a design office of repute.Should have exposure to software application support of civil engineering Essential Job Duties: Work as support in CAD Application Support group to support Smart3D (Structural & Civil), Tekla, Revit, Civil 3D, Inroads, Autodesk & Bentley Suit of Products, API programming, CAD applications like Autocad and Microstaion, Inhouse application developed for Civil, Structure and Architecture etc. Must be able to act independently and take a proactive approach to entrusted tasks. Provide inputs / recommendations on Application support to Functional Management Interact and coordinate with Business Units Project's and gather RequirementsExpectations for Automation inclusive of Integration and PlanProvide support. Interact with End users to support, troubleshoot, interact with vendors, resolve licensing issues etc. Lead technical discussions with the team and provide direction / decisions for SetupConfigure applications as required by the project. Monitor and ensure timely closure of TasksIncidents received by the team through Service Now, over e-mail or telephone Work with Commercial Software Vendors and in-house Development team Maintenance of Test Environment for Application exchanges. Testing applications and participate in certification process for new versions of applications. Providing training to users / super-users on application as required. Participate in train-the-trainer modules. Coordinate and interact with Project / Senior Management on support related issues Provide guidance to the team on EPC practices and standards Interaction and communication within Automation and IS&T groups, corporate teams, Business Units / Site offices, Product manager, Functional management in local and overseas offices. Maintain / develop standard reporting practices Support the Triage and Root Cause Analysis exercises as and when required Interact with vendors and software suppliers Amenable to working in shift operations Work towards process improvement. Job Knowledge: Knowledge of Civil Structural Engineering processes and Data flow between different software used during engineering and construction phase. Excellent understanding of Tekla Structures, Revit, Smart 3D Structural Task, Report Creation, Catalog, API programming, SQL/VB Reports, Drawings Customization. Ability to support other tools like Civil 3D, Inroads, STAAD pro and other analysis and design tool set-up is an added advantage. Good understanding of Database structures and application architecture for supporting Applications. Familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, Access databases. Basic knowledge of Software and hardware requirement and operating systems including system architectures, network infrastructures, etc. Experience in Hexagon, Autodesk & Bentley Suit of applications. Qualification: Minimum 4-year degree from an accredited college in Civil Engineering. Work Experience in similar capacity with thorough understanding of the job. Candidates with the Specialized courses in Automation will be an added advantage. Experience: Grade 23: 4 - 8 years of relevant work experience Grade 24: 8 - 12 years of relevant work experience
