to manage daily construction activities, ensure quality control, coordinate with teams, and maintain smooth site execution. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of civil works, the ability to lead labour teams, and ensure timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day site operations and ensure work is executed as per drawings and standards.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and labour teams.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of civil works.
Maintain site safety and enforce safety rules (PPE, barricading, signage, etc.).
Check and verify materials delivered to site as per specifications.
Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and labour attendance.
Conduct quality checks for concrete, masonry, plastering, flooring, and finishing works.
Resolve site issues and provide quick solutions in coordination with the Project Manager.
Ensure proper use of machinery, tools, and equipment.
Communicate with clients during site inspections (if required).
Maintain site cleanliness and ensure material optimization to reduce wastage.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or ITI or B.Tech in Civil Engineering
2-7 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in civil construction.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, BOQ, and site measurements.
Excellent leadership and team-handling skills.
Knowledge of quality standards and safety compliance.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Additional Requirements (optional)
Knowledge of basic computer skills (email, MS Excel, WhatsApp reporting).
Experience in residential/commercial building projects is an advantage.
