Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day store operations at the construction site.
Maintain accurate stock records for incoming and outgoing materials.
Coordinate with site engineers and purchase departments for material requirements.
Handle material receipts, inspection, and proper storage as per standards.
Ensure timely issue of materials to site teams as per approved requisitions.
Maintain proper documentation like stock register, etc.
Monitor and report stock shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
Ensure safe handling and stacking of civil materials (cement, steel, aggregates, etc.).
Assist with audits and inventory verification.
Monitor material consumption and reduce wastage.
Skills & Requirements
Minimum 2-5 years experience as Storekeeper/Store In-Charge in a civil construction project.
Knowledge of material codes, measurement units, and construction items.
Proficient in MS Excel.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
