Job Summary:

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for ensuring continuous and compliant operation of the TSDF facility with strict adherence to CPCB regulations, safety standards, and environmental norms. The role includes supervision of landfill operations, civil infrastructure, stabilization activities, safety enforcement, record maintenance, and coordination with internal teams for smooth facility operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure uninterrupted facility operations in full compliance with CPCB rules, environmental regulations, and safety standards. Maintain 100% compliance with fire safety, facility safety, and employee safety protocols. Oversee civil infrastructure including internal roads, drainage systems, rainwater management, and perimeter drains to prevent contamination or flooding. Supervise landfill operations including waste receiving, dosing, leveling, soil cover, compaction, and HDPE liner welding/testing as per CPCB guidelines. Ensure no contamination to soil, water, or air during waste handling, transportation, storage, treatment, and disposal. Monitor leachate management including extraction, collection, and record maintenance. Maintain grid-wise disposal records, soil cover logs, heavy equipment usage, and weighbridge operations. Supervise stabilization and incinerable waste packing/blending activities in coordination with the Treatment Supervisor. Ensure proper use of PPEs and strict adherence to safety norms and MPMS across landfill, stabilization shed, and operations areas. Ensure waste samples are sent to the laboratory and stabilization is carried out as per approved methodology with post-treatment testing. Maintain detailed records of waste lots, reagent consumption (daily/monthly), and storage conditions. Enforce discipline, punctuality, professionalism, confidentiality of company and customer data across all employees. Guide incoming vehicles for correct storage, treatment, or disposal locations. Support facility presentations, inspections, and customer visits including presentations and audits.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Experience in TSDF / landfill / hazardous waste management preferred Strong knowledge of CPCB guidelines, safety systems, and environmental compliance Ability to supervise site operations, contractors, and workforce Good documentation, coordination, and communication skills

Pay: ?32,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
