Job Description

A civil site engineer oversees construction projects by managing site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, quality standards, and safety regulations, while also coordinating with various stakeholders like architects, subcontractors, and clients. Key duties include performing site inspections, tracking progress, resolving on-site issues, managing project budgets and resources, and preparing progress reports to ensure successful project completion within budget and time constraints. Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight:

Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure they align with project plans, designs, and specifications.

Quality Control:

Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to engineering standards and quality requirements.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, legal requirements, and environmental guidelines.

Coordination:

Liaise with and coordinate the efforts of architects, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and the project team to ensure smooth operations.

Resource Management:

Manage and control project resources, including materials, equipment, and budgets.

Problem Solving:

Diagnose and resolve technical issues and deficiencies that arise during construction.

Reporting:

Monitor project progress, compile data, and prepare comprehensive site reports for management.

Documentation:

Review and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and feasibility studies, and ensure all required technical files are maintained.

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, design, and construction methods.
