Job Description

:

1.

Site Supervision and Execution

:

o Assist in monitoring daily site activities to ensure they align with project plans and specifications.

o Coordinate with labor teams to execute tasks as directed by senior site staff.

o Ensure proper implementation of drawings and designs under supervision.

2.

Material and Resource Management

:

o Track and document the usage of materials and tools at the site.

o Assist in the receipt, inspection, and storage of construction materials.

o Report any shortages or excesses to the Site Manager or Project Manager.

3.

Quality Control and Inspection

:

o Conduct basic checks to ensure work is done as per specified quality standards.

o Identify and report discrepancies or defects in materials and workmanship.

o Assist senior engineers during quality audits or inspections.

4.

Health and Safety Compliance

:

o Ensure workers adhere to safety protocols on-site, such as wearing protective equipment.

o Report safety concerns or incidents to the site supervisor immediately.

o Attend safety training sessions and enforce compliance among team members.

5.

Documentation and Reporting

:

o Maintain a daily logbook of site activities, including labor, materials, and progress.

o Assist in preparing progress reports for review by senior engineers or managers.

o Document site issues and communicate them to the senior team for resolution.

6.

Coordination and Communication

:

o Liaise with contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.

o Communicate site requirements and challenges to the Site Manager or Project Manager.

o Ensure timely updates on progress and issues to the concerned teams.

7.

Learning and Development

:

o Gain hands-on experience in interpreting drawings, layouts, and project documents.

o Learn and apply basic construction techniques, codes, and best practices.

o Attend training sessions or workshops organized by the company to improve skills.

8.

Time Management

:

o Assist in ensuring that work is completed within the stipulated time frame.

o Prioritize tasks based on instructions from senior engineers or supervisors.

o Support efforts to recover delays by putting in extra effort as required.

9.

Support for Senior Engineers

:

o Provide support in surveying, leveling, and setting out at the site.

o Assist in implementing design changes or modifications as per site conditions.

o Follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently under supervision.

10.

Site Cleanliness and Orderliness

:

o Ensure the site remains clean and organized, with materials stored properly.

o Promote a disciplined and professional work environment on-site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
