Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision & Execution

Execute civil works as per approved drawings, BOQ, and structural specifications. Monitor daily construction activities and site progress. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site laborers for smooth workflow.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and government regulations. Check and verify the quality of materials used and workmanship. Coordinate inspections with consultants, architects, and local authorities.

Project Coordination

Maintain communication with project managers, architects, and vendors. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, material usage, and labor deployment reports. Coordinate for timely delivery of materials and equipment to avoid delays.

Surveying & Measurements

Conduct site measurements, leveling, and marking for construction. Ensure structural levels and elevations are accurate as per plans.

Documentation & Record Keeping

Maintain site logs, material registers, and work checklists. Document site instructions, deviations, and rectifications.

Location-Specific Tasks

Chennai Projects:

Coastal compliance, stormwater drainage, RCC works, urban road alignments.

Kodaikanal Projects:

Slope management, retaining wall construction, terrain grading, eco-sensitive material usage.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering. 2-5 years of experience in site execution, especially in residential, resort, or villa projects. Strong technical knowledge of structural work, finishing, and utility infrastructure. Ability to work independently in remote and hill station sites (for Kodaikanal). Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project tracking tools.

Preferred Skills:

Working knowledge of government building regulations and DTCP/approval processes. Experience in slope stabilization, rainwater harvesting, and eco-friendly building practices (for hill station sites). Tamil language proficiency is a must; English/Hindi is an added advantage. Willingness to relocate and stay near site (accommodation can be provided).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:
