Job Description

A civil site engineer supervises and manages on-site construction activities to ensure projects, such as buildings, roads, and bridges, are built according to design specifications, safety standards, and within budget and time constraints. Key responsibilities include planning, quality assurance, managing resources, resolving technical issues, and communicating with stakeholders to translate engineering plans into the physical construction of infrastructure. Project Oversight

: Supervises and directs construction work on site, ensuring it aligns with engineering designs and specifications.

Quality Control

: Conducts regular inspections and tests to verify that construction materials and workmanship meet required standards.

Safety Management

: Enforces safety protocols and ensures compliance with all health and safety regulations on the construction site.

Resource Management

: Manages and coordinates labor, materials, and equipment to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Problem-Solving

: Identifies and resolves technical issues that arise during construction to keep the project on track.

Communication

: Serves as the primary point of contact for the construction team, clients, and other stakeholders, providing updates and facilitating effective collaboration.

Budget & Schedule

: Monitors and manages project costs and timelines to ensure completion within the allocated budget and schedule.
