Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Civil Site Engineer to oversee the execution of Gabion Wall construction across our project sites.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of gabion structures, soil conditions, site surveying, and slope protection works. This role involves complete supervision of construction activities, quality monitoring, coordination with vendors, and ensuring timely completion as per design and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day site activities related to gabion wall construction.

Review construction drawings, plans, and BOQs for accuracy and compliance.

Conduct site leveling, surveying, and setting-out for gabion works.

Ensure proper foundation preparation, gabion basket installation, and stone packing.

Monitor quality of materials including gabion boxes, geotextile, and stones.

Coordinate with contractors, labor teams, and vendors for smooth execution.

Maintain strict adherence to safety norms and environmental guidelines.

Prepare daily progress reports, material consumption logs, and site documentation.

Resolve on-site issues and communicate with project managers regarding project status.

Inspect completed work to ensure durability, alignment, and structural stability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

4-7 years of experience in gabion wall, retaining wall, erosion control, or similar civil works.

Strong knowledge of slope protection, drainage, and soil stabilization techniques.

Ability to read engineering drawings, layouts, and structural plans.

Proficiency in surveying tools (AutoLevel, Total Station preferred).

Excellent site management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to independently handle labor and site operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,500.00 - ₹45,500.00 per month
