Resident Engineer - Civil for Water, Sewage & Reuse Projects

2. Role Summary

We are seeking a Resident Engineer - Civil to site-based execution, design coordination, and

implementation of works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, cost-effectively, and on schedule. The

role involves detailed engineering, vendor coordination, inspection, and project management support to

ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

? Designation: Resident Engineer Civil

? Qualification: BE/B Tech in Civil Engg or Environmental Engg or equivalent

? Location: Jalgaon-Bhusawal Region, Maharashtra

? Experience: 2-5 years

? Employment type: Full-time

? Reports to: Project Manager

? Salary: As per industry norms, and no bar for deserving candidates

4. Key Responsibilities

? Monitor execution works ensuring quality and safety compliance.

? Plan, schedule, and supervise construction programs for timely delivery.

? Oversee daily site works (pipeline laying, PCC, RCC, masonry, structural works, pumping stations,

STPs/WTPs).

? Cross-check and verify drawings, BOQs, contracts, and specifications at the site.

? Conduct site inspections, data collection, and sewage/water flow measurements.

? Prepare AutoCAD drawings, hydraulic designs, estimates, and BOQs.

? Carry out due diligence of existing STPs/ETPs and recommend improvements.

? Prepare site visit reports, progress reports, and technical presentations.

? Monitor quality of materials and works as per codes and standards; witness testing and

inspections.

? Coordinate with contractors, operators, and clients; attend site and client office meetings.

? Verify contractor bills, maintain project documentation, and track cost/time performance.

? Represent the organization in client/government meetings.

5. Knowledge & Skills

? Experience in water and sewage projects; construction/PMC/IE of STPs, WTPs, water supply

networks, and laying of MS/DI pipelines. Strong knowledge of MJP, PWD, central/state DSRs, and

estimation practices.

? Awareness of sewage treatment technologies, water quality standards, and clearance processes.

? Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); Primavera/MSP preferred.

? Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.

? Ability to maintain professional relationships with government and private stakeholders.

? Broader exposure to infrastructure and civil engineering works.

6. Leadership & Teamwork

? Deliver outputs as per project/client timelines.

? Maintain proactive communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

? Support project managers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

7. Mandatory Qualifications

? Education: BE/B.Tech or M.Tech in Civil/Environment Engineering.

? Experience: 2-5 years in water, sewage, or reuse projects.

? Technical Skills: AutoCAD, MS Office, Internet, Primavera/MSP (advantageous).

? Professional Traits: Proactive, detail-oriented, excellent communicator, and team player.
