Job Title : Safety Officer

Location : Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a secure work environment at our building and high-rise construction sites. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in civil construction safety and hold a diploma degree in safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulations at construction sites. Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions. Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for workers and site personnel. Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses, providing recommendations to prevent recurrence. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, and incidents. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure safety compliance. Lead emergency response drills and ensure the workforce is prepared for potential emergencies. Stay updated with the latest safety trends, laws, and regulations in the construction industry.

Requirements:

Diploma in Safety Management or a relevant field. Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Safety Officer in building and high-rise construction. Strong knowledge of civil construction safety practices and regulations. Ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards at construction sites. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations effectively.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
