Key Responsibilities
Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and coordinate between client, consultants, contractors, vendors, and statutory bodies to ensure smooth workflow and timely issue resolution.
Review and verify contractor work progress, material approvals, and method statements.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks as per approved drawings, standards, and specifications.
Track project schedules and provide inputs for project planning, resource mobilization, and milestone achievements.
Assist in resolving technical issues and interface coordination between civil, structural, and MEP works.
Review and verify contractor invoices, measurement books, and reconciliation statements in coordination with billing/QS teams.
Prepare and maintain daily/weekly/monthly progress reports, site documentation, and issue logs.
Support project close-out activities including snagging, testing and commissioning, and handover.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
5-10 years of experience
in project management, with at least
3 years in industrial project environments
.
Prior experience in a
PMC
is a plus.
Strong understanding of industrial construction techniques, pre-engineered buildings, steel structures, heavy foundations, and services integration.
Proficient in project management tools.
Familiar with codes and standards relevant to industrial construction (IS codes, NBC, relevant local standards).
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
Certification in Project Management or Construction Management.
Exposure to green industrial building practices.
Experience with large-scale fast-track industrial or design-build projects.
