Job Summary:

The Project Manager - RCC Drain will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) drainage projects. The role involves managing resources, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring quality, safety, and timelines are met as per contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Execution

Prepare detailed project plans including scope, schedule, and cost estimates. Supervise all phases of RCC drain construction--from excavation to formwork, reinforcement, concreting, and curing. Ensure project execution aligns with design specifications, drawings, and client expectations.

Team & Site Management

Lead and manage site engineers, supervisors, and labor teams. Monitor daily construction activities, solve site issues, and ensure productivity. Coordinate with surveyors for drain alignment, slopes, and levels.

Material & Vendor Coordination

Ensure timely availability of construction materials like cement, aggregates, reinforcement, and formwork. Liaise with vendors and subcontractors for timely execution and quality assurance.

Quality & Safety Compliance

Ensure strict adherence to QA/QC standards during each stage of drain construction. Implement safety protocols and conduct toolbox talks and safety audits at site.

Stakeholder & Client Coordination

Conduct progress review meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams. Provide regular updates and handle site inspections and approvals from authorities.

Documentation & Billing

Maintain all project documentation including DPR (Daily Progress Reports), labor deployment, material consumption, and work measurement. Support the billing team with accurate measurements and BOQ updates.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering. 6-10 years of experience in RCC drain or similar civil infrastructure projects. Experience in executing municipal, industrial, or road drainage projects. Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project/Excel) and construction documentation.
