The Project Engineer (PMC) will be responsible for supporting project planning, coordination, execution, material supply, payments, bills, meetings, and monitoring activities to ensure successful completion of projects within scope, budget, quality, and timelines. They act as a liaison between clients, contractors, and the internal PMC team.
We are looking for Chennai and Coimbatore locations.
Assist in preparing detailed project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors for smooth project execution.
Support in procurement planning, material tracking, and vendor management.
2. Site Management & Monitoring
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Conduct regular site visits to review execution status, resolve issues, and provide technical guidance.
Identify risks and escalate delays or deviations to the Project Manager.
3. Quality & Safety Compliance
Ensure all project activities comply with safety protocols and quality control procedures.
Conduct inspections and assist in QA/QC documentation.
Coordinate with the safety team to maintain safe site operations.
4. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for internal and client updates.
Maintain accurate project records, drawings, and change management documentation.
Support in preparation of MIS reports and project presentations.
5. Stakeholder Communication
Act as a bridge between client representatives, contractors, and internal PMC teams.
Attend progress review meetings and provide technical inputs.
Address client queries and ensure prompt resolution of site issues.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of project management principles and engineering practices.
Good understanding of civil, mechanical, or electrical systems (based on domain).
Familiarity with project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to handle multi-disciplinary teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
ME Construction Management / Fresher or Experienced
Experience:
2-5 years of relevant experience in project execution, preferably with PMC or EPC firms.
Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and safety guidelines.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Adherence to project timelines and budget.
Quality and safety compliance levels.
Accuracy and timeliness of reports and documentation.
Stakeholder satisfaction and effective communication.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
