Job Overview

We are hiring a Civil Lab Incharge (Bitumen And Road Materials) to oversee the operations of our lab and ensure quality control for bitumen and road materials. This is a full-time position based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in bitumen and road materials testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing standards and regulations for bitumen and road materials.
• Experience in operating and maintaining lab equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and guide junior technicians.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in test procedures and result documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in computer-aided testing and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the operations of the civil lab, focusing on quality control for bitumen and road materials.
• Ensure compliance with testing standards and regulations, and maintain accurate records of test results.
• Monitor and evaluate lab equipment and materials, and make recommendations for improvements or replacements.
• Supervise and guide junior lab technicians in conducting tests and analyses.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate testing of materials.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for lab processes.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in bitumen and road materials testing methods.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Assist in the selection and procurement of lab equipment and supplies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of lab processes and efficiency.
