Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Coimbatore for a Civil Purchase Engineer. The role involves managing the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely purchase orders and deliveries, and coordinating with vendors and suppliers. Responsibilities include developing and implementing purchase plans, maintaining vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost optimization while maintaining quality standards. The Civil Purchase Engineer will also be involved in tracking procurement records and analyzing purchasing trends to improve processes and decision-making.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase Planning Experience handling Purchase Orders and overseeing order accuracy Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate vendors, manage costs, and optimize purchase decisions Excellent organizational and communication skills Proficiency in relevant procurement software and Microsoft tools Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and meet deadlines Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Work experience in the construction or structural engineering industry is an added advantage
