About the role Looking for meaningful role? If you really want to make a difference - make it with us Meeting the need of Civil Design Engineer for project execution of SS in Siemens Energy: Your new role - exciting and future-oriented During Tendering Stage:

  • Quantification of Civil work quantities based on Tender layout,
  • Preparation of Basic Layout and drawings
  • Validation of civil vendor offers,
  • Estimation of civil cost based on available civil vendor offers.
  • Preparation of Prebid clarifications, co-ordination with sales team & customer.
  • Preparation and submission of bid for complete switchyard packages.
  • Site visits to get desire input for designing & costing aspect.
During Execution Stage:
  • Prepare design calculation and drawings of Civil scope of works (Building, Gantry, Equipment Foundations, Cable trenches, drain, Transformer foundations, firewall, BOT, Equipment Support structure and gantry structures etc.),
  • Support Project Manager in getting drawing approval from end customer,
  • Preparation of detail CIVIL BOQ and get offers from civil vendors,
  • Validation of vendor offers, Estimation of rates based on market rates for raw material
  • Tracking of civil cost wrt to tender and execution stage quantities.
  • Co-ordination with internal & external stake holders.
  • Site visits to get final input for designing & execution work.
  • Knowledge of project management & site management process is must.
  • Preparation of detail schedule for engineering and complete project execution.
  • Day to day interaction with customer, suppliers, and site team for monitoring of project requirements.
Qualifications: M. Tech /B. Tech/ BE in Civil/Structural Engineering
Expertise in Softwares: AutoCAD, STAAD, Revit, MS office, MS projects. We don’t need superheroes, just super minds We are looking for Civil Design Engineer for project execution of AIS GIS substations with min. 5-6 years of experience.
