Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled

Civil Engineer with expertise in waterproofing, concrete repairs, and building maintenance

. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of repair methodologies, site supervision, and material specifications related to waterproofing systems and structural rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities1. Site Assessment & Investigation

Conduct site inspections to identify leakage, seepage, structural cracks, and deterioration. Diagnose root causes of waterproofing failures or structural defects. Prepare inspection reports with recommendations and rectification methods.

2. Waterproofing Works

Plan and supervise waterproofing works for roofs, basements, tanks, terraces, expansion joints, podiums, and wet areas. Ensure correct application of waterproofing materials (membrane, PU coating, acrylic coating, cementitious systems, etc.). Verify surface preparation, thickness, curing, and installation procedures.

3. Repairs & Rehabilitation

Oversee structural repair works including crack filling, grouting, concrete jacketing, polymer-modified repairs, and protective coatings. Ensure compliance with standard repair practices, safety norms, and manufacturer guidelines. Coordinate testing such as rebound hammer, core cutting, and moisture tests when required.

4. Project Supervision & Coordination

Monitor daily work progress and ensure timely completion of tasks. Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and labor teams. Ensure quality control and adherence to technical specifications.

5. Material Management

Review and recommend suitable waterproofing and repair materials. Coordinate with vendors for material approvals and technical specifications. Ensure proper storage and handling of materials on site.

6. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work status reports. Maintain site records, checklists, and quality documentation. Assist in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and project schedules.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering. 2-5 years of experience in waterproofing, repairs, and building maintenance works. Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems, repair materials, and construction techniques. Ability to read architectural, structural, and technical drawings. Proficient in site supervision and quality control. Good communication and project management skills. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
