The Civil Engineer - Site Visitor is responsible for regular site visits, monitoring construction activities, ensuring quality control, and supporting project execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and effective coordination with contractors, supervisors, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities1. Site Inspection & Monitoring
Conduct daily visits to construction sites to monitor work progress.
Ensure construction activities are carried out as per drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
Identify deviations and report issues to the Project Manager.
2. Quality Assurance & Compliance
Inspect materials, workmanship, and installation quality.
Ensure compliance with safety practices, building codes, and project standards.
Check curing, shuttering, reinforcement, concrete works, and finishing stages.
3. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site supervisors.
Communicate project updates, site challenges, and material requirements.
Participate in site meetings and assist in resolving technical issues.
4. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and photo documentation.
Record measurements, material usage, and work completion status.
Assist in preparing RA bills, inspection requests (IRs), and quality reports.
5. Project Support
Track project timelines and highlight delays or requirements.
Assist in layout checking and setting out work on-site.
Monitor material deliveries and ensure proper storage and utilization.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
0-3+ years of experience in construction or site supervision (freshers can apply).
Strong understanding of civil work processes and technical drawings.
Good knowledge of site safety, QA/QC practices, and construction materials.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and site documentation.
Good communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
