Civil Engineer Trainee

Role Overview

This role is an invitation to step onto the foundation of a meaningful engineering journey. As a Civil Engineer Trainee, you will learn by doing--observing structures rise, understanding the rhythm of a construction site, and translating drawings into reality. Under guided mentorship, you will develop practical skills, professional discipline, and technical confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior engineers in site execution, supervision, and daily construction activities Support quantity calculations, basic measurements, and material tracking Help in preparing site reports, work progress updates, and documentation Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, and skilled workers Learn to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings Ensure basic quality and safety standards are followed at the site Participate in inspections, site meetings, and technical discussions

Learning & Development

Gain hands-on exposure to real-time construction practices Understand project workflow, timelines, and site coordination Learn the basics of quality control, safety procedures, and site discipline Develop professional communication and reporting skills

Eligibility Criteria

Diploma / B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering (Freshers or recent graduates) Basic understanding of civil engineering concepts Willingness to learn, adapt, and work on-site Good observational and communication skills Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Skills

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software (added advantage) Familiarity with construction materials and methods (desirable) Positive attitude and strong work ethic
