Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed designs and project plans for new construction or renovation of campus infrastructure, considering feasibility, safety, and environmental impact.
Conduct site investigations, soil testing, and risk assessments to inform design and project decisions.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and schedules, managing resources to keep projects on time and within budget.
Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety protocols, and local regulations.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, government agencies, and college stakeholders for approvals, inspections, and coordination.
Monitor and maintain existing infrastructure through routine inspections, maintenance planning, and rehabilitation.
Ensure quality control and implement safety measures during construction and maintenance.
Utilize software tools like AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and project management.
Conduct research and prepare technical reports, plans, and documentation related to infrastructure projects.
Support sustainability initiatives by considering environmental factors in civil engineering projects.
