Job Description

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B.E./B. Tech) in Civil Engineering.

Experience: You'll need a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in civil construction.

Specialization:

At least 2 years of experience in switchyard construction up to 220 KV (preferably on two projects).

Project Management:

Manage vendors and a team of engineers at the site to ensure high-quality work execution according to project schedules.

Supervision:

Oversee civil foundation work for module mounting structures, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and quality standards. Inspect column leg civil foundation work. Check land levelling activities.

Supervise sub-station foundation construction.

Monitor the construction of main control room buildings and inverter control rooms. Supervise tower construction. Oversee plant plumbing work. Manage road construction. Handle drainage system construction.

Handover and Safety:

Actively participate in the Handover to Operations (HOTO) team to ensure timely project commissioning. Adhere to organizational safety policies.

Quality Assurance:

Inspect, test, and report any non-conformities in consultation with designated authorities. Ensure adherence to approved Field Quality Plans (FQPs) covering all stages from raw materials to finished structures.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1.Project Planning: Lead the planning phase of civil engineering projects for wind farms,

feasibility studies, and resource assessments.

2. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor team on field, providing guidance and support

throughout the project lifecycle.

4. Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams including

electrical engineers, environmental specialists, and project managers to ensure

seamless coordination and integration of civil engineering activities within the project.

5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations,

permits, and codes throughout the design and construction phases.

6. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the integrity

and durability of civil infrastructure, optimizing performance and longevity.

7. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with

civil engineering aspects of wind farm projects and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.

8. Cost Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures related to civil engineering activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
