Civil Engineer (Site Engineer)
Role Overview
A Civil Supervisor oversees and manages the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role includes coordinating workers, subcontractors, and suppliers while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and approved project specifications. The Civil Supervisor also identifies issues, resolves conflicts, and maintains accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee and manage the entire construction process from start to finish.
Coordinate and direct the activities of workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure that all construction works are carried out in accordance with approved plans, drawings, specifications, and permits.
Manage the allocation and utilization of resources such as labor, materials, and equipment.
Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and quality of work.
Project Quality, Timeline & Budget Control
Ensure projects are completed

Maintain rigorous quality control measures and documentation.
Identify any deviations from plans and take corrective action promptly.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce safety regulations and ensure adherence to building codes and statutory requirements.
Conduct routine safety checks to identify potential hazards or violations.
Promote a safe and compliant working environment for all on-site personnel.
Issue Resolution & Communication
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that arise during construction activities.
Handle conflicts between workers, contractors, and other parties involved in the project.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
Ensure all stakeholders are updated on project progress and expectations.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate daily records including progress reports, material consumption, cost tracking, and quality control logs.
Prepare and verify measurements, work updates, and related documentation.
Support project managers with reporting and coordination as needed.
Requirements
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum
3+ years of experience
in civil construction, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
Excellent communication, leadership, and team-management skills.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Working Conditions
Required to work on construction sites regularly.
Work involves both indoor and outdoor environments.
Exposure to varying weather conditions depending on project location.
Extra working hours may be required near project deadlines.
Collaborative work with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project professionals.
Employment Details
Working Days/Hours:
Monday to Saturday (09:00 am - 6:00 pm),
Salary:
?50,000 - 75,000 per month (based on experience & skills)*
