To oversee and execute civil construction activities as per project design, technical specifications, safety standards, and timeline, ensuring structural quality and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret architectural and structural drawings, and ensure site execution aligns with them.
Plan daily site activities, allocate tasks to site supervisors/workers, and monitor progress.
Supervise construction tasks including RCC, brickwork, plastering, shuttering, finishing, etc.
Monitor quality of materials and workmanship to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders for smooth execution.
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, DPRs, and maintain project documentation.
Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and minimize risks at the site.
Manage labor, machinery, and resources efficiently to avoid delays.
Check and verify bills, measurements, and contractor invoices.
Handle troubleshooting and technical issues on-site.
Qualifications:
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Additional certifications in project management/safety (preferred but optional).
Experience & Skills:
4-10 years of relevant work experience in civil construction or real estate projects.
Proficient in reading drawings, AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office.
Sound knowledge of construction materials, methods, and safety standards.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple teams and deliver within deadlines.
