Job Summary

Banerjee Group is looking for a skilled and experienced

Civil Engineer (Site Engineer)

to manage and supervise on-site construction activities. The role involves ensuring structural integrity, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness of projects while ensuring timely completion in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications. Ensure

structural stability, safety, and quality

standards at all stages of construction. Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution. Monitor construction schedules and ensure projects are completed

on time and within budget

. Manage material planning, procurement coordination, usage, and control to minimize wastage and costs. Ensure compliance with

statutory norms, safety regulations, and quality standards

. Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly. Maintain site documentation, daily progress reports, and quality check records. Oversee workforce deployment and ensure proper work distribution at site.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

civil construction practices, structural works, and site execution

. Ability to read and interpret

drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications

. Sound understanding of safety standards, quality control, and regulatory compliance. Good planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple activities under deadlines and budget constraints. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualification & Experience

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

. Relevant experience as a

Site Engineer

in construction projects (commercial/residential/industrial preferred).
