Oversee and manage on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards and safety regulations.
This role involves monitoring daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards, and coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
The engineer will conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and address technical issues promptly to avoid delays.
Responsibilities include assisting in preparing work schedules, resource allocation plans, and progress reports, ensuring materials and resources are available as required, and enforcing safety protocols on-site.
The Civil Site Engineer will also conduct quality checks at various stages of construction, document and report deviations or defects, ensure adherence to local building codes and safety regulations, and maintain accurate records of site activities.
Collaborating with project teams, consultants, and clients, the engineer will provide updates, resolve disputes, and manage client relationships.
Prepare 2D Working Drawings to support Site Work.
Prepare BOQs as required.
Key performance indicators for this role include timeliness in project delivery, quality control metrics, safety compliance, efficient resource management, and accuracy in reporting.
