Responsibilities

Project supervision:

Oversee all on-site construction activities, including setting out sites, supervising contracted staff, and managing work progress.

Technical oversight:

Interpret and verify technical drawings and designs, ensuring that construction is executed accurately and meets engineering standards.

Quality control:

Conduct regular site inspections and tests on materials and workmanship to maintain quality standards throughout the construction process.

Resource management:

Plan and manage the efficient allocation of labor, materials, and equipment to keep the project on track and on budget.

Safety and compliance:

Enforce and monitor health and safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment that complies with all building codes and regulations.

Documentation and reporting:

Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, project progress, and material usage. Prepare and submit regular reports to project managers and stakeholders.

Skills and qualifications

Educational background:

A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is typically required.

Technical knowledge:

A strong understanding of core civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials is essential.

Communication skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to interact with various stakeholders and prepare clear reports.

Physical fitness and adaptability:

The job is hands-on and often requires working outdoors in various conditions, sometimes on multiple sites.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
