Job Description

Role Purpose

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing infrastructure works, coordinating with vendors and contractors and ensuring effective maintenance of existing infrastructure to support smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management

Oversee civil infrastructure works including buildings, internal roads, drainage, utilities and allied structures Ensure construction and infrastructure activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to safety norms and statutory requirements

Maintenance of Existing Infrastructure

Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of existing civil infrastructure Identify repair and renovation requirements and prepare cost estimates Monitor maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion and minimal operational disruption

Vendor & Contractor Coordination

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for civil works and maintenance activities Verify bills, measurements and work completion certificates Ensure vendor compliance with timelines, quality and safety requirements

Planning, Documentation & Reporting

Prepare BOQs, estimates and material requirements Maintain records of drawings, approvals, contracts and maintenance logs Submit periodic progress and maintenance reports to management

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure quality control checks at site Enforce safety practices and compliance with company policies and statutory regulations Support audits and inspections related to infrastructure and maintenance

Desired Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of civil construction and infrastructure maintenance Experience in vendor and contractor management Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications Cost control and estimation skills Good communication and coordination skills Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge preferred

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Experience:

3-6 years (in infrastructure projects and maintenance preferred) Experience in industrial, commercial, or residential infrastructure will be an advantage

Pay: ₹10,778.29 - ₹46,335.84 per month
