Job Description

A Civil Engineer plans, designs, constructs, and maintains vital infrastructure like roads, bridges, water systems, and buildings, ensuring projects are safe, sustainable, and compliant with regulations. Key responsibilities include site analysis, creating blueprints with CAD, managing budgets, overseeing construction, ensuring quality control, coordinating with teams (architects, contractors), and assessing environmental impact.

Construction Management:

Supervise on-site construction, manage project teams, and ensure adherence to plans, timelines, and budgets.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure all projects meet local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Quality Assurance:

Test materials, monitor structural integrity, and ensure high standards for public works.

Cost Estimation & Budgeting:

Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment, managing project finances.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with architects, surveyors, government agencies, and contractors, reporting progress to stakeholders.

Maintenance & Rehabilitation:

Plan and oversee the upkeep, repair, and replacement of existing infrastructure.

Problem-Solving:

Address unexpected issues in designs or during construction, finding practical solutions
