Key Responsibilities:



Site Supervision

: Supervise daily activities at construction sites, ensuring that work is carried out according to approved plans, designs, and specifications. Oversee the work of contractors, subcontractors, and other site personnel.

Quality Assurance

: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all construction work meets quality standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations. Resolve any technical issues that may arise during construction.

Progress Monitoring

: Track the progress of the project, ensuring that milestones are achieved on schedule. Monitor timelines, productivity, and project completion rates, and report any delays or potential issues to management.

Reporting & Documentation

: Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly site reports, documenting project progress, activities, materials used, labor performance, and any incidents. Ensure that all records are accurate and up to date.

Safety Oversight

: Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel. Conduct regular safety checks and report any potential hazards.

Coordination with Stakeholders

: Communicate with project managers, architects, contractors, and clients to ensure that all parties are informed of project status and developments. Act as a liaison between the field and office teams.

Site Material Management

: Monitor and manage the delivery and proper use of materials and equipment on-site, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and cost-effectively.

Technical Assistance

: Provide on-site technical support and guidance to contractors and construction crews to ensure that work is carried out according to engineering standards and specifications.

Documentation Compliance

: Ensure that all project documentation, including drawings, permits, contracts, and approvals, is maintained accurately and is easily accessible for review.

Problem Solving

: Identify and address site-specific challenges or problems that arise during construction, providing immediate solutions to minimize downtime and maintain project flow.

Environmental & Regulatory Compliance

: Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with environmental regulations and local building codes. Conduct site inspections to ensure environmental sustainability practices are followed.

Qualifications:



Education

: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Experience

: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on site supervision, project management, or construction management.

Licensing

: Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred, or working towards certification.

Software Skills

: Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Technical Knowledge

: Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles, construction techniques, and building codes.

Reporting Skills

: Strong ability to prepare and present clear and concise reports, as well as update stakeholders on project status.

Communication Skills

: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including site teams, management, and clients.

Problem-Solving Abilities

: Ability to identify and address on-site challenges and find timely, effective solutions.

Leadership

: Experience managing on-site teams and ensuring smooth coordination between multiple parties.
