Job Description

We are looking for a

Civil Engineer

to manage and execute civil works at

power substation sites

. The candidate will be responsible for planning, supervision, quality control, and coordination of all civil construction activities in line with project drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and execute civil works at

substation sites

(control room, foundations, cable trenches, roads, drains, fencing, etc.). Study and interpret

civil drawings

, BOQs, and technical specifications. Ensure construction activities are completed as per

approved drawings, quality standards, and timelines

. Coordinate with electrical, project, and contractor teams for smooth execution. Monitor

material usage

, manpower deployment, and daily site progress. Conduct

quality checks

, measurements, and maintain site records. Ensure compliance with

safety norms and statutory requirements

. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and submit to the project manager. Handle site inspections, client interactions, and issue resolution.

Required Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering

Experience in

substation / power infrastructure / industrial projects

preferred

Experience

2-6 years

of relevant experience in substation or similar infrastructure projects (Freshers with strong site exposure may also be considered, if applicable)

Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of

RCC works, foundations, trenching, and structural works

Ability to read and understand civil drawings Basic knowledge of

AutoCAD

(preferred) Strong coordination and site management skills Good communication and reporting abilities

Site-based role Willingness to work at project locations
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
