Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our maintenance company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and construction supervision, with a focus on maintenance and repair of existing structures. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Oversee maintenance and repair projects from inception to completion. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Site Supervision:

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Manage and supervise construction workers and subcontractors on-site. Resolve any issues or problems that arise during the course of the project.

Technical Expertise:

Conduct structural assessments and provide recommendations for repairs and improvements. Prepare and review engineering plans, drawings, and specifications. Ensure all maintenance work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Coordination :

Coordinate with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding, fabrication, tile works, and vendors ensure seamless project execution. Schedule and oversee the work of different vendors to ensure timely and quality completion. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary materials and equipment.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of project progress, expenses, and any changes to plans. Prepare regular reports for management and clients, detailing project status and any issues that need to be addressed. Document all maintenance activities and ensure proper record-keeping.

Client Relations:

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project status. Address client concerns promptly and professionally. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering and construction supervision. Experience in maintenance and repair of structures is highly desirable. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant software. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and safety standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Must own a two-wheeler and possess a valid driving license for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers. Preferred candidate: Male.
