Job Role : Civil Design Engineer -(Substation/ Transmission Line)

Location: Bhubaneswar,Khurda,

Experience: 2+ years

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Analysis:

Perform civil and structural design of substation components (e.g., control room buildings, equipment foundations, cable trenches, firewalls) or transmission line structures (e.g., tower foundations, access roads, gantries).
Documentation & Review:

Prepare and review detailed civil drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and design reports. Develop and maintain accurate design records, DBRs (Design Basis Reports), and DCIs (Design Criteria Inputs).
Coordination:

Liaise with cross-functional teams including project management, site execution, clients, consultants, and vendors for approvals and technical clarifications. Support site teams during execution with drawing clarifications and technical guidance.
Pre-Bid & Engineering Support:

Assist in tender engineering and estimation by providing preliminary designs, quantity take-offs, and design inputs for proposals.
Compliance & Quality:

Ensure all designs meet applicable national/international standards (IS, IEC, IEEE), project specifications, and environmental or geotechnical considerations.
Technical Expertise:

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/B-tech in Civil Engineering Minimum 2 years of experience in design for substation and/or transmission line projects
Software Proficiency:

AutoCAD, REVIT (Drafting Preferred) MS Office Suite
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
