VAL Civil and Environmental Testing Lab is a specialized laboratory offering precise and reliable testing services for the civil and environmental sectors. Managed by qualified engineers and equipped with advanced instruments, the lab ensures compliance with IS, IRC, MORTH, and environmental standards. It provides testing solutions for materials like concrete, soil, and steel, as well as non-destructive testing, geotechnical investigations, and mix design services. Additionally, the lab conducts water and wastewater quality analysis per national and international standards to support construction, infrastructure, and environmental projects.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Test Engineer based in Bengaluru. Responsible for performing laboratory and field testing of construction materials, including concrete, soil, and aggregates. Execute test plans, maintain detailed test records, ensure compliance with quality standards, and deliver accurate, reliable data to support diverse civil engineering projects and industries. They will work closely with technical teams and adhere to established industry standards to deliver reliable test results for diverse projects.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Test Engineering and Test Execution
Experience in developing and managing Test Cases
Strong skills in Testing and Functional Testing
Familiarity with industry standards and specifications related to civil testing
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment
Prior experience in a laboratory or testing setting is a plus
