Job Summary:

The Civil Engineer for High-Rise Projects will oversee and execute civil construction activities at site, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery of the project. The role requires strong technical knowledge of high-rise structures, coordination with contractors and consultants, and adherence to project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Execution & Supervision

Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities for high-rise structures (residential/commercial). Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements. Monitor excavation, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, block work, plastering, and finishing works. Check alignment, levels, and dimensions according to structural drawings.

2. Quality Assurance & Control

Conduct quality checks for materials and workmanship. Coordinate cube testing, concrete quality checks, and other QA/QC processes. Ensure compliance with IS codes and project quality standards. Raise and close NCRs, site observations, and quality documents.

3. Planning & Coordination

Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and contractors. Attend daily site meetings to resolve technical issues. Prepare and track DPR (Daily Progress Reports), WPR (Weekly Progress Reports), and monthly schedules. Support the planning team in preparing micro-schedules for key activities.

4. Contractor & Material Management

Monitor subcontractor work progress and performance. Verify contractor bills, measurements, and BOQs. Ensure availability of materials in coordination with the procurement team. Review and approve material samples and ensure specifications are met.

5. Safety Compliance

Maintain safety protocols at the site as per statutory and company norms. Ensure workers follow PPE and safety guidelines. Report and rectify safety hazards and near-miss incidents.

6. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain updated records of drawings, specifications, RFIs, and site instructions. Record deviations, variations, and changes in site conditions. Prepare bar bending schedules (BBS) and verify execution as per BBS.

Key Skills Required:

Strong technical knowledge of high-rise construction Proficiency in reading structural and architectural drawings Knowledge of IS codes, QA/QC processes, concreting technology Expertise in site supervision and contractor management Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera, and MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory) Experience in high-rise tower projects (20+ floors preferred)

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
