Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tender evaluation, project costing, technical documentation, and coordination activities. This role also supports project growth through strategic involvement in large municipal and private STP/ETP projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Study and evaluate tenders in the water and wastewater sector, with a focus on technical and commercial aspects. Support the sales team in accurate costing of civil and electrical works for respective projects. Collaborate with the business development team to grow municipal and large-scale private STP/ETP projects. Thoroughly review tender documents, including design reports, drawings, specifications, data sheets, and calculations to clearly define the scope of work. Prepare and raise pre-tender queries and coordinate with clients/owner departments for required clarifications. Develop alternative technical proposals where needed to improve cost-effectiveness or technical performance. Stay up-to-date with market standards and specifications to ensure competitive and compliant bids. Participate in post-tender activities such as client/consultant meetings, clarification of queries, and techno-commercial negotiations. Contribute to the development of the Civil Engineering Department and internal project processes. Ensure drawing approvals and design validation through coordination with the Project Manager. Conduct and assist in rate analysis and project detailing as per estimation and execution needs.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognised university. Minimum 2 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or execution within the water/wastewater infrastructure domain. Experience with complex tenders and contract negotiation is desirable. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Strong understanding of design and construction principles related to STPs/ETPs and other infrastructure.
