The Civil Supervisor will oversee day-to-day construction site activities, ensure quality work, manage labour, coordinate with contractors, and ensure projects are executed as per drawings, safety standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor daily civil work at the site.
Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and BOQ.
Manage labour teams, assign tasks, and track productivity.
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, vendors, and site staff.
Check quality of materials and workmanship at every stage.
Maintain site documents such as DPR (Daily Progress Report), labour attendance, and material stock updates.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and PPE usage on site.
Inspect shuttering, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, flooring, concreting, and finishing works.
Report site issues, delays, material requirements, and progress to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
Support in conducting site measurements and verification of contractor bills.
Ensure housekeeping and site cleanliness.
Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering (preferred).
Minimum
3 years experience
in civil site supervision.
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards.
Ability to read and understand drawings.
Strong leadership and labour management skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Familiar with safety rules and site protocols.
