Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Civil Site Engineer

to oversee and manage construction projects at our site. The Civil Site Engineer will be responsible for executing project plans, supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinating with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision:

Oversee daily construction activities on-site and ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.

Project Planning & Execution:

Interpret and implement construction drawings, plans, and specifications. Assist in planning work schedules and materials allocation.

Quality Control:

Monitor construction for adherence to design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Coordination:

Liaise with clients, architects, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure effective communication and project progression.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate project documentation including site reports, progress reports, and compliance records.

Problem-Solving:

Identify and address technical issues, delays, and site-specific challenges quickly and efficiently.

Safety Compliance:

Enforce and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.

Material Management:

Monitor materials delivery and usage to prevent shortages or delays.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Proven experience (2-5 years preferred) in a similar site engineering role. Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, and other engineering/project management software. Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written communication.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with surveying equipment (e.g., total station, GPS). Ability to read technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with local building codes and standards. Project management certification is a plus (PMP, Primavera, etc.).

Work Conditions:

Site-based work with occasional office coordination. May require travel between project locations. Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
