Experience Required:

2-5 Years

:

Study and analyze architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and BOQ for estimation purposes.

Experience of Study and preparation of BOQ.

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).

Prepare project cost estimates, rate analysis, and cost comparisons.

Collect quotations from vendors/subcontractors and evaluate them for cost efficiency.

Assist in tendering process including preparation of technical and commercial bids.

Conduct site visits when required to verify quantities and assess actual site conditions.

Monitor material consumption and compare with estimated quantities.

Prepare cost variance reports and support project cost control activities.

Coordinate with planning, procurement, and execution teams for accurate cost tracking.

Maintain updated database of material rates, labor costs, and market trends.

Skills:

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering. 2-5 years of relevant experience in estimation, costing, or quantity surveying. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX, or similar). Good analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills. Attention to detail with ability to work under tight deadlines. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
