Job Description

Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects (buildings, roads, bridges, drainage, water supply & sewage systems).

Perform site investigations: soil testing, geotechnical studies, surveying, environmental impact assessments.

Prepare technical drawings, blueprints, and detailed project designs using CAD / Civil 3D or similar tools.

Estimate quantities, materials, costs, and prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ); assist with tendering and procurement.

Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Manage contracts, contractors, subcontractors, vendor coordination.

Ensure regulatory compliance: obtain necessary permits, adhere to building codes, safety norms, environmental regulations.

Conduct inspections, quality control & assurance during construction and final handover.

Prepare reports, maintain documentation: site progress reports, compliance and safety reports, as-built drawings.

Liaise with stakeholders: architects, structural engineers, municipal authorities, clients, consultants.

Solve technical challenges on site: material defects, discrepancies in drawings, unexpected ground conditions etc.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) or equivalent. Master's degree is a plus.

Experience: Depending on level -- for mid-level, around 3-7 years working in civil construction projects in Delhi / NCR or similar environment. For senior roles, more years.

Strong knowledge of structural design, materials, construction methods, soil mechanics.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design / drafting tools.

Good understanding of survey methodologies, geotechnical investigations.

Strong project management skills: scheduling, resource allocation, cost control.

Knowledge of relevant Indian standards, building codes, environmental / safety regulations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work in field conditions, conduct site visits, supervise teams.

Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,632.21 - ₹52,432.17 per month
