Purpose of the Role

looking for a Civil head who have good knowledge of real estate construction

Key Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle of civil works for real-estate projects - from planning, approvals, design coordination, procurement, execution, to handover and occupancy. Coordinate and liaise with architects, structural & civil consultants, MEP/finishing teams, contractors, vendors, site teams, external authorities (municipal, statutory etc.). Develop and monitor project schedules (Gantt/CPM), milestones, track progress, identify slippages or bottlenecks and implement corrective actions. Prepare, control and manage budgets, cost forecasts, expenditure, change orders, value engineering and ensure projects are delivered within cost envelope. Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory and safety norms (building by-laws, RERA, EC, municipal permissions, environmental & sustainability norms). Establish and maintain quality control systems and site supervision to ensure construction standards and finishing standards are met; monitor materials, workmanship, wastage, and rework. Drive contractor and vendor management: tendering, negotiation, contracts, performance monitoring & relationship management. Build, mentor and manage the civil / site engineering team; define roles, deliverables, track performance, and foster a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement. Provide regular updates, MIS reports, dashboards and escalate issues to senior management. Lead adoption of new technologies, sustainable practices, green building solutions in civil works & construction. Drive handover of the project on time, ensure coordination of commissioning, snagging, defects liability, occupancy handover and ensure customer / internal stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) from recognised university. Minimum of

10-15 years

of experience in civil / construction works in real-estate development (residential, commercial or mixed-use) with at least 3-5 years in a senior/leadership role. Proven track record of executing large scale real-estate projects (preferably high-rise, luxury, or township developments). Strong knowledge of civil engineering design, construction methodologies, building codes/by?laws, structural systems, finishing works, procurement & contracts. Excellent leadership, team management, interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
