Job Description

Responsibilities of Civil Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor1. Project Planning & Site Execution

Supervise and monitor site works to ensure quality, safety, and timely progress. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and consultants for smooth execution. Ensure works are carried out as per drawings, specifications, and standards. Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports.

2. Quantity Surveying & Estimation

Prepare

BOQs (Bill of Quantities)

and cost estimates for projects. Conduct

quantity take-offs

from architectural and structural drawings. Prepare

material requirement sheets

and assist in procurement planning. Evaluate contractor/vendor quotations and negotiate rates. Keep track of variations and prepare revised estimates when required.

3. Cost Control & Budget Management

Monitor project costs against budget and highlight discrepancies. Certify contractor bills and ensure accuracy of work measurements. Maintain records of project expenses, claims, and payments. Support management in financial forecasting for ongoing projects.

4. Contracts & Documentation

Assist in drafting tender documents, specifications, and contracts. Review and verify contractual claims by contractors. Maintain all site-related documents including drawings, estimates, and approvals.

5. Coordination & Communication

Liaise with design team for clarifications and modifications. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for timely delivery of materials. Communicate effectively with management on project progress, costs, and issues.

6. Quality & Compliance

Ensure compliance with IS codes, building standards, and safety regulations. Check quality of construction materials and workmanship. Resolve technical issues on-site and provide corrective solutions.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
