Job Title:

Civil Engineer

Experience:

5 Years and above

Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with strong technical expertise and construction experience to oversee engineering aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, site markings and layout, steel quantity calculations, and managing contractor payments, ensuring timely and quality delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and modify construction drawings using AutoCAD and ensure accuracy in all technical designs.

Conduct site markings and layout work as per approved project plans and drawings.

Calculate steel quantities, reinforcement detailing, and material estimations for various construction elements.

Supervise and coordinate construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Manage contractor payments by verifying work completed against contracts, bills, and project schedules.

Collaborate closely with contractors, architects, site supervisors, and project managers to resolve technical issues and optimize project delivery.

Review and approve contractor invoices, ensuring accurate billing and timely payments.

Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety protocols.

Prepare progress reports, cost estimates, and material procurement plans.

Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and legal requirements.

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical support to the project team.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.

Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
